Who we are

Hope for Africa Development and Leadership Initiative (HOFORA) is a faith-based non-governmental organization dedicated to transforming lives and communities in Africa. We integrate Bible-based teachings with leadership development and micro-entrepreneurship training to empower individuals, communities, and nations to reach their full potential. Our mission is to raise godly leaders who will drive positive change, promote economic empowerment, and glorify God in all aspects of life. We believe that by combining spiritual growth with practical skills, we can create a brighter future for Africa and beyond

Our root

Hope for Africa Development and Leadership Initiative was founded on December 29, 2017, in Jos, with a vision to transform lives and communities in Africa. Since its inception, the organization has been dedicated to empowering leaders and micro-entrepreneurs in urban and rural areas, including Abuja, Jos, and Kachia. Through its training programs, Hope for Africa has equipped numerous potential and active leaders, as well as entrepreneurs, with the skills and knowledge needed to drive positive change. Additionally, the organization has conducted prison outreaches to help inmates rediscover their purpose and has adopted micro-entrepreneurs, providing them with access to resources and training to foster growth. By creating an ecosystem of entrepreneurs, Hope for Africa has also facilitated networking and partnerships among entrepreneurs, further amplifying its impact. With a strong foundation established, Hope for Africa continues to strive towards its mission of raising godly leaders and entrepreneurs who will shape the future of Africa

What we do
